There’s a measles epidemic in Samoa. All government offices will be closed on 5 and 6 December to assist with mass measles vaccinations. This won’t affect the airport, seaports or other essential services operations. Some tourist services may be limited. If you’re visiting Samoa make sure your vaccinations are up-to-date and your travel insurance covers medical evacuations.
