Mauritius

Mauritius has put in place further entry restrictions in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. If you’ve visited China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, South Korea, Italy or Iran in the last 14 days, you won’t be allowed to enter or transit through Mauritius. This doesn’t apply if you hold a residence permit, but you will be placed in quarantine. If you’ve visited or transited through France or Germany during the last 14 days, you’ll be placed in quarantine if you show symptoms like fever, a cough or breathing difficulties. These restrictions also apply to passengers on cruise ships. Vessels may be denied entry to Mauritius if they don’t comply. Enhanced screening procedures are in place for all arrivals at airports and seaports.

We haven’t changed our level of advice:

Exercise normal safety precautions in Mauritius.
