South Sudan

South Sudan has confirmed COVID-19 cases. The Government of South Sudan has announced its intention to resume international flights and some domestic travel. Until this occurs flights to and from South Sudan are suspended and all land borders are closed. A curfew is in place from 10pm to 6am. Restriction levels may change at short notice. If you’re in South Sudan, follow the advice of local authorities and minimise your risk of exposure to COVID-19. Stay in touch with family and friends so they know you’re safe and well.

We haven’t changed our level of advice:

Do not travel to South Sudan, including Juba, due to instability and ongoing conflict.
