There is an ongoing outbreak of coronavirus in China, originating from Wuhan City in Hubei Province.
When you arrive in Taiwan you will be screened for high body temperature and asked to voluntarily inform quarantine officers if you have symptoms such as a fever or cough.
Travellers to Taiwan who arrive from China, Hong Kong and Macao must also complete a Novel Coronavirus Health Declaration Card.
If you have symptoms you may be tested for the virus, and you could be placed into isolation or quarantine for treatment. Talk to your doctor before travelling.
